Privacy Policy

Steam Court is an unofficial Steam profile comparison and report tool. This policy explains what data the app uses, why it uses it, and what choices you have.

Data We Collect

When you sign in with Steam, Steam returns your SteamID64. We use that ID to create your account and to request visible Steam profile data.

Depending on your Steam privacy settings and the Steam API response, we may store:

• Your SteamID64, display name, avatar URL, and profile URL.
• Profile visibility status where available.
• Your visible Steam friends list.
• Visible owned-game and playtime data for you and synced friends.
• Steam Store genre/category metadata for some games.
• Generated Steam Court reports and protected share IDs.
• Contact form messages, including your provided name/email and attached Steam account details.
• Basic sync history such as sync status, counts, and timestamps.

What We Do Not Collect

• We do not ask for, see, or store your Steam password.
• We do not store Steam access tokens.
• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not use paid AI APIs to generate reports.

How We Use Data

We use synced Steam data to show your dashboard, friend reports, group comparisons, and deterministic template-based verdicts.

Steam privacy settings control how much data is available. If a profile, friends list, or game library is private, reports may be limited.

Shared Report Pages

If you create a share link, the shared page may show generated report text, display names, labels, verdicts, sentences, and summarized stats to signed-in Steam Court users. Shared pages do not expose Steam API keys, session cookies, raw Steam API payloads, or internal database IDs.

Cookies

Steam Court uses secure httpOnly cookies to keep you signed in and, for admins, to support read-only view-as mode. These cookies are used for app functionality, not advertising.

Deleting Your Data

You can delete your synced data from the Settings page. Deletion removes your account, synced friends, snapshots, owned-game mappings, generated reports, and contact messages attached to your account.

Where Data Is Stored

Production data is stored in the managed PostgreSQL database configured for the app. Hosting and database providers may process data as service providers.

Steam Court is unofficial and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation or Steam.
